Hope you’re enjoying your Saturday! This week was my first week at the new job at the hospital in the volunteer services department. REALLY loving it so far- getting to see new faces everyday has been so refreshing.
Quick recap of this week:
I would not want to survive a morning without my ninja blender. I have fun, doctor-prescribed food meds that I eat daily, and my favorite way to eat them is via Vega protein smoothie. I’m not a big fan of protein powders- I fully believe that whole food should be providing me energy instead of powders. But since I’ve been having to eat doctor-mandated probiotics, I use it as an excuse to love on my Vega protein.
This weeks favorite: 1/2 cup coffee, 1/4 cup almond milk, 1/2 cup greek yogurt, bananas, cinnamon, chocolate Vega sport protein with the enteragam protein (from doc).
Clearly should’ve brought a bottle of water with me while I grocery shopped.
Discovered I have time during lunch to come home and let Mister Jax outside…
…he thinks it’s lunchtime for both of us.
Realized how my coworkers REALLY feel about my alma mater:
I keep telling myself it’s a “friendly” rivalry 🙂
Started making dinner at 10pm one night (oops)
Good news is it only took thirty minutes to put together, courtesy of Trader Joe’s brown rice
Got too excited about this decal. I mean, it’s COOKIE MONSTER!
But I didn’t buy it (yet).
And the most exciting news of all:
OKC Memorial, I’m comin’ for you!!! So excited!!! Just a few weeks away.
